As parents we have choices to make for our children and psychology has provided the ideal parenting style as they grow. Of the four parenting styles mentioned below the ideal is authoritative. The bible also supports this style for us all to grow as God also wants His children to grow. This requires discipline (I Corinthians 9: 24-27) drawing strength from God’s love ( Ephesians 3:17) and wisdom which we should ask for ( James1:5)
