Reflection
I played scrabble with my dad the week before he died. A remarkable fact, as for most of my life I lived 3,000 miles from him. God who keeps His promises enable me to have a relationship with my earthly father for many years. My dad made it easy for me to understand the fact that God is a rock on whom I can depend. I still miss my dad but to realize that our heavenly Father adopts us to be His children means we always have a Father on whom we can rely. What a wonderful thing that is!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, on whom we can rely as children, help us to follow in your footsteps forever!
