Psalm 78:1-4,12-16 v 4 “We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders.”
Words that stood out
O my people, listen to my instructions. Open your ears. We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders. The miracles He did for their ancestors. Making the waters stand up like walls! In the daytime He led them by a cloud, and all night by a pillar of fire. He made streams pour from the rock!
Reflection
In our days we can be so focused on what we are doing right now, on the priorities that we have each day that we forget the wonders God has done for us in the past, and that He is there for us now to guide us day and night! Being reminded of God’s power and mighty wonders is always a good thing. So today listen, open your ears to the wonders God has done in your life. To the wonders He did in the past so that we can be His children today. Have a great day reminded that God is there to help and look out for the wonders He is doing through His mighty power!
Prayer: Heavenly Father we are sorry that we sometimes rely too much on our own resources to do your work. Thank you for reminding us that your power and wonders that helped in the past are available to us today. Amen.
