Family Fun Day!

Mark 12:30 – “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”

In the past few weeks there has been lots of talk about taking care of the earth and that is good. That makes God very happy! Because the Bible tells us that God made the earth and the streams/lakes, the mountains, the trees and flowers, the birds and fish the animals and us, and He wants us to take care of this earth

I have a crazy but fun idea! What outdoor activity is fun to do on a windy, spring day? If you said, “Fly a kite!” you were right. I wondered if we could make signs to tape to our kites. If you don’t have a kite, you could make a simple one out of construction paper, string and popsicle sticks. ( Google making a simple kite) I wondered if we made signs to tell God “Thank You!” for making the flowers/trees/streams. Or “I Love You!”, or “Praise God!”, or draw a big Happy Face that smiles at God. Then we could fly our kites up in the sky and send love messages to God for His great love for us and all He has made for us to enjoy on this earth.

 Ephesians 3:18 “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.”
