“Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father….So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:29 NASB)
I was watching the birds at our feeder while eating my breakfast the other day. They seemed to go about their pursuit with patience and contentment. Some ate directly at the feeder while others picked up seeds on the ground. None of the birds seemed worried or in fear of not getting enough food. They seemed to be care-free. It seems to me that God knows what those little birds needed; and God knows what all our needs are as well. God actually promised to supply all our needs.
Prayer: Gracious God, thank you for taking care of all my needs, even when I don’t even realize it. You care for these little birds and You care for me. You are a great and caring God. Amen.
