Isaiah 65 v 16 ” Whoever asks for a blessing in the land will be blessed by the God of Truth.“
The old testament in many places talks of obedience to God the Lord of Armies, and what will happen to those who do not obey. It is a repetitive picture of people who do not listen to God , who are stubborn and continue to worship idols of their own making. How true is that of life today? Every now and then there are also pictures of a “new heaven and a new earth” if you continue reading to Isaiah 65 v 17 and on to v 25. How does that relate to us as Christians today? In our darkest days there is always hope. In our brightest days there is an amazingly deep sense of joy .
CrossWalk continues the series on Blessings today at 7pm. A community of Christians who gather for fellowship, discussion, song and prayer. All are welcome via a zoom meeting. Send an email for the connection here
Take a deep breath in and say God loves you, breath out and say all is well. Repeat.
